We want everyone to have a great time at TRAMLINE. We aim to operate a clean and safe venue for all our guests. Please read our venue rules before coming to the venue.
All nights and rooms in TRAMLINE operate a minimum age policy. We operate Challenge 25. If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25, you must bring a suitable photographic ID with you. We accept passports, driving licences and an approved proof of age card. Please do not be offended if you are refused because you do not have ID – this request is to protect our licence and operate within the law. Photographs of ID are not accepted by the Venue.
The age policy varies depending on the event.
We reserve the right to refuse admission at any time. From time to time we conduct random searching of customers suspected of wrongdoing. We kindly request that you cooperate as you will be asked to leave if you do not.
TRAMLINE operates a zero tolerance towards drug use. Our security may operate a mandatory search policy, and we ask that customers kindly co-operate with such a request. Any failure to do so may result in refusal of admission.
Any person found using or dealing drugs will be detained and the police will be called without exception. An indefinite club ban will also be issued. We also reserve the right to photograph any offenders and retain the photo on our files for banning enforcement.
An extensive security team operate in TRAMLINE in addition to comprehensive monitored CCTV. This policy is for the safety of all customers and staff and to ensure that TRAMLINE remains open.
By entering TRAMLINE, you agree that you may be subjected to special effects used as part of our productions. These may include Strobe and/or Flash lighting, pyrotechnics, haze/smoke, dry ice etc; There is a high epilepsy risk – those with photosensitive epilepsy should be aware of the use of strobe lighting and enter the venue at their own risk. Should you fall ill as a result of the special effects, please notify a member of Management or Security.
When you enter a TRAMLINE (21 D’Olier St/ 5 Hawkins st) event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by TRAMLINE and its affiliates and representatives.
Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar TRAMLINE events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of TRAMLINE. You release TRAMLINE, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by TRAMLINE or the person or entity designated to do so by TRAMLINE. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
Extensive CCTV is also in operation for the safety of all of our staff and customers.
TRAMLINE operates the following search policy:
Anybody entering the premises may be subject to a body and bag search. This may involve a member of TRAMLINE’s Security or Management inspecting contents of your bag.
We will not tolerate violence to our staff or other customers. Any offender will without exception be banned from the club for life. We aim to operate a safe and happy environment for all our guests and staff. In the instance of violence, we will detain offenders and hand them over to the necessary authorities. We also reserve the right to photograph any such offender and their identification and retain the photograph for future banning enforcement.
We want you all to have a great time when visiting TRAMLINE, we ask that you conduct yourself in our venue appropriately and show respect to fellow clubbers and our staff. Drunken, disorderly or rowdy behaviour will not be tolerated.
We strongly advise not to leave handbags and personal effects unattended. Please use the Cloakroom. The management accepts no responsibility for articles left in pockets etc. and not shown to the attendant at the time of deposit. Valuables should not be deposited in the cloakroom. In the event of loss from this cloakroom, we will only pay out to a maximum of €50 per claim. Lost tickets will be asked to wait until the end of the night. Coats will not be given out without a ticket. Only 1 article is allowed per hanger. If no token/ticket can be presented, we will not compensate the damage inflicted by the loss of the ticket. Please note that all unclaimed items from the Cloakroom will be passed onto Lost Property where they will be kept for 28 days, before being donated to charity.
